| A note about our crushed rock: In most cases, we can adjust the size of this rock to smaller or larger than the size we have listed if you have a specific size preference. Just let us know when you place the order if you need a size that better suits your needs. Some special requests for sizing however, may require additional costs due to material losses and additional labor. |

Leopard Skin Jasper and Zebra Jasper Mix.
These pretty pieces range in sizes from

The Leopard Skin Jasper material has a spotted appearance with tan, brown some yellow
and darker red/purple coloring.
The Zebra Jasper has tans and brown with some reddish coloring. This material is overall good rock for the tumbler or use them as is for fountains

Dyed Crackle Quartz |
This is something new to The Rock Shed crushed rock
section, dyed crackle Quartz. The buyer will receive dyed quartz pieces
and potentially some dyed crystal quartz points. Each bag will have a mix of greens, pinkish reds, orang-ish yellows, and yellow dyed Quartz. This
material is called crackle quartz due to the process of dying the quartz.
The Quartz pieces are placed in hot water then quickly transferred to cold
water which produces the cracks which allows the dye to seep into the rock
material. It is possible that small amounts of dye may come off when initially handling the material when wet. The final product will not have this problem. Quartz is the second most common mineral in the Earth's continental crust. It is mainly composed of Silica or Silica based minerals. Although Quartz is known by a variety of names, the most important distinction between types of Quartz is that of macro-crystalline, individual crystals visible to the unaided eye, and micro-crystalline, where aggregates of crystals are only visible under high magnification. |
