Unakite |
This is an old favorite that has returned to the Rock Shed. Here
is a lovely, high quality, multi-colored Unakite from Africa. This rock
is in sizes from 3/4" to 1 1/2". This is a super cool rock that is excellent
for rock tumbling, fish aquariums, plant terrariums, decorative fountains and
rock gardens. This rock has a well defined Pink and Green color and a

Yellow Aventurine |
This is a pretty crushed Yellow Aventurine in sizes from 3/4" to 1 1/2".
It has a deep Gold color with some White accents. This rock is great for

Small Amethyst Crystals
|
These are smaller Amethyst Crystals from Brazil in sizes from 1/2" to 3/4". These work good when tumbled for jewelry pendants and things. Although you may find a few with nice tips they are overall a tumbling or decorative grade of Crystal. Great for the rock tumbler or use them just as is for fountains or other decorative uses. This rock has a very nice light Lavender to dark Purple colors with accents of White. Just beautiful. |

Labradorite |
This is some very nice, above average quality, crushed Labradorite. The pieces range in size from 3/4" to 1 1/2". This is great rock for the tumbler or use it just as is for fountains or other decorative uses. This batch was photographed wet to show the colors better. This beautiful material is from Madagascar. This is some of our new rock just in from our latest shipment from Africa. Take time to enjoy something different for your tumbling projects by trying some Labradorite. Just as a suggestion, you may get a better polish if you add an additional step to your tumbling process by adding a 1000 Aluminum Oxide grit between the pre-polish and polish stages.

Crystal Quartz |
Here is Arkansas Crystal Quartz in sizes from 5/8" to 1". These
are nice looking translucent to slight White opaque Crystal pieces. Some
are clear enough to use for jewelry or other decorator items or use it as tumbling

Green Tree Agate |
Here is a very interesting find. This is some above average quality
Green Tree Agate from India. This very beautiful rock has a White base
with bright Green "squiggly" accents. It would make a great tumbling rock
or a super accent to any garden. Another great product from the Rock Shed.

Picture Jasper |
Here is a great find from the Rock Shed. This is a select, high
quality Picture Jasper from South Africa. This rock is in sizes from 3/4"
to 1 1/2". These stones are a Cream to a dark Brown in color with variegated
lines that form "pictures" covering the stones. This is a super cool rock
that is excellent for rock tumbling, fish aquariums, plant terrariums, decorative
fountains and rock gardens. Super Cool!!

Apache Tears |
These are Apache Tears from 3/8" to 1" in size. Although somewhat harder to polish than the harder stones such as agate they will make a very pretty tumbled stone. They will polish best by not mixing with other types of stone and using an additional step with 1000 grit Aluminum Oxide. Use plastic pellets to cushion them in the last three finish steps.
