GAL200c  EUHOPLITE AMMONITE 

This Euhoplite Ammonite is an extremely well preserved specimen from Morocco.  These Ammonites had grasping tentacles and eyes that protruded from the opening on the outside of the deeply rippled coiled shell.  This very cool Ammonite measures 6 3/4" x 5 7/8" x almost 4" thick and weighs just over 6 pounds.  The fossil has good detail showing the the exterior features of this ancient aquatic mollusk.  An excellent addition to any collection!

This specimen is an extremely well preserved Euhoplite ammonite from Morocco.  The Ammonite shows excellent detail of the suture of the chambers and has an all natural, unpolished surface.  This very interesting specimen measures 7 1/8" x nearly 5 7/8" x 3 1/8" thick and weighs over 5 3/4 pounds.  An awesome addition to any fossil collection!

GAL206b  MADAGASCAR AMMONITES

This outstanding specimen is unique as it's many Ammonites together in matrix and is from Madagascar.  The phenomenal very large Ammonite is accompanied by numerous other Ammonites, Clams, and various other fossils throughout the matrix.   The large Ammonite measures over 8 1/4" x 6 7/8" with a shiny finish.  The smaller Ammonite on the opposite side is 3 3/4" x 3".  Overall, this extraordinary specimen measures approximately 12" x almost 9 1/4" x nearly 6" and weighs 17 1/4 pounds.  Just an exceptional addition to any fossil collection!

FG207b  GEISONOCERAS AMMONOID 

Here is an exceptional Fossil specimen as it's two Geisonoceras together from the Western desert of Morocco in North Africa.   Both Cephalopods have excellent distinctive Geisonoceras signature detail in the zig-zag suture design of the chambers and have a smoothed unpolished surface.  The very cool large Geisonoceras measures almost 8 1/2" x nearly 6 7/8" x 1 5/8" thick with the smaller one being over 3" x almost 2 1/2" x 3/4".  Together, the entire specimen measures almost 8 1/2" x 7 3/4" x 2 3/8" and weighs 4 1/8 pounds. A truly wonderful addition to any fossil collection!

The Geisonoceras Ammonoids are extinct members of the cephalopod group of mollusks. Only a limited number of species have survived to the present day which includes the squid and the chambered nautilus.  Like their younger relative Ammonites, they had a multi-chambered shell, and added more chambers as it grew, always living in the outer chamber.  They thrived in the Devonian period some 400 to 350 million years ago.

GAL208b  MOROCCO AMMONITES

This outstanding specimen is unique as it's three Ammonites together on matrix and is from Morocco.  All three Ammonites fossils show excellent detail and have an all natural finish.   They are fairly similar in size with the smallest Ammonite measures 4 1/4" x approximately 3 3/4" x almost 2" thick and the largest Ammonite is 5 1/8" x almost 4 1/4" but is much thicker at nearly 2 1/4".  The third Ammonite is not exposed enough to measure. Together this phenomenal specimen measures approximately 8 1/4" x 6 1/2" x 4 3/8" and weighs 8 3/4 pounds.  The Ammonites can be displayed many different ways and look great.  Just an exceptional addition to any fossil collection!

GAL209b  MADAGASCAR AMMONITES

This is something that is simply outstanding; a fabulous specimen as unique as it's many very nice Ammonites together in matrix and is from Madagascar.  The phenomenal very large Ammonite specimen is accompanied by numerous other Ammonites, Clams, and various other fossils throughout the matrix.   The largest Ammonite measures nearly 9" x 8 1/4" with a shiny finish and excellent detail.  The large Ammonite on the opposite side is almost 6 3/4" x 5 1/8" with good detail, too.  Scattered about are the other partially exposed Ammonites, Clams and other fossils with more discovered from every different angle.  Overall, this incredible Ammonite fossil specimen measures approximately 16" x almost 11 1/2" x nearly 7 1/4" and weighs over 30 3/4 pounds.  Just an absolutely extraordinary addition to any fossil collection!

GAL210b  MADAGASCAR AMMONITES

This is an incredibly magnificent specimen of multiple Ammonites with other fossils from Madagascar.  The phenomenal display has 3 large Ammonites flanked by many other Ammonites, Clams, and various other fossils throughout the matrix.   The large upper Ammonite measures over 5 3/4" x 4 7/8"x 1 1/2" with a shiny polish and excellent detailed sutures all the way to the aperture.  The middle Ammonite is 5 3/4" x 4 5/8" with very good detail, too.  The lower Ammonite is the largest measuring 6 3/8" x nearly 5 1/4" with a nice polish as well.  Scattered about are the other partially exposed Ammonites, Clams and other fossils with more discovered from every different angle.  Overall, this fantastic Ammonite fossil specimen measures approximately 19 1/2" tall x 10 1/4" x 7 1/2" and weighs over 36 3/4 pounds.  An absolutely exceptional Ammonite display for any fossil collection!
