Here is a very nice, super quality Gold in a
large matrix from Cement Ridge in the Black Hills of South Dakota. This
very cool specimen
has Gold in crystal form as well as tiny Quartz crystals. The high
resolution pictures attempt to show the tiny crystals and Gold scattered
about but don't do it justice. The rock matrix that the Gold is on is
Limestone and it measures nearly 5 3/4" x 4 3/8" x 3 3/8" and is not polished. An amazing

Michigan. The "half-breed" specimen is Copper and Silver and

nice specimens are getting rare and generally not available to the public
