This is natural native copper which has been mostly removed from the matrix rock which was surrounding it.  It is the natural formation just as it formed in the rock.  It measures 6" x 3 7/8" x 3 1/8" thick and weighs nearly 4 1/2 lbs.

M257hb  This is a stunning "Splash" Copper free-form made from native copper from the Keweenaw Peninsula in upper Michigan.  It has a very pretty Copper color where it's been smoothed and polished.  The balance is a natural oxidized green with a clear coating over the entirety giving a shiny finish from all directions.  This lovely creation measures 8" x 3 1/4" x 31/8" thick with a great unique character. This particular specimen has a cool shape that resembles a dog running!  Very different and beautiful!
