a very pretty sterling Silver pendant with an interesting inlaid Abalone Shell
double heart pattern. This pendant measures 1 1/4" x 5/8" with a pretty
Yellow hearts. The bail size is 1/4". Abalone are a group of
shellfish with large shells. These shells are composed of material which
is highly iridescent which gives rise to a range of strong and changeable
colors making them very attractive as decorative objects including jewelry.
The colors vary from species to species but the iridescent nacre that lines
the inside of the shell can range from silvery white, to pink, red and green-red,
deep blues, greens and purples.

This is a very pretty sterling Silver pendant with a 20 mm x 30 mm Rutilated
Quartz stone. This pendant measures 2" from the top to the bottom. The
bail measures 3/8". The cabochon has a translucent appearance with several
Golden hair-like Rutiles through out the stone. Quartz is the second
most common mineral in the Earth's continental crust. It is mainly composed
of Silica or Silica based minerals. Although Quartz is known by a variety
of names, the most important distinction between types of Quartz is that of
macro-crystalline, individual crystals visible to the unaided eye, and micro-crystalline,
where aggregates of crystals are only visible under high magnification.
There are many forms of Quartz including Chalcedony, Amethyst, Citrine, and
Carnelian which are results of mineral impurities or heat treatments.

a very pretty sterling Silver pendant with a 22 mm x 30 mm Amethyst stone.
This pendant measures 1 1/2" from the top to the bottom. The bail is
solid (not moveable) with the pendant and is 1/4" in size. This pendant
has a nice sterling Silver filigree setting that only enhances the beauty
of the stone. Amethyst is a purple variety of Quartz often used as
an ornament. Upon exposure to heat, Amethyst generally becomes yellow,
which some refer to as Citrine or "burnt" Amethyst. It occurs in color
from a light, slightly pinkish violet to a deep grape purple. It is
widely distributed as a mineral, but fine, clear specimens that are suitable
for cutting as ornamental stones.

a very pretty sterling Silver pendant with a 14 mm x 32 mm Labradorite stone.
This pendant measures 1 7/8" from the top to the bottom. The bail is
solid (not moveable) with the pendant and is 3/8" in size. This stone
has a nice iridescent sheen and a warm glow in light. Labradorite
is a Feldspar mineral that occurs in large Crystal masses in anorthosite and
shows an iridescence or "play of colors." Gemstone varieties of Labradorite
exhibiting a high degree of iridescence are Spectrolite, Moonstone and Sunstone.
High quality samples with good iridescent qualities are desired for jewelry.

pretty sterling Silver pendant with a 22 mm x 30 mm Black and Blue Sodalite
stone. This pendant measures 1 3/4" from the top of the bail to the
bottom of the setting. The bail size is 5/8".
Sodalite is a rich royal blue mineral enjoyed as an ornamental stone.
Although massive samples are opaque, Crystals are usually transparent to translucent.
It is very similar to Lapis but with out the Pyrite Crystals and distinguishable
color differences. It makes great jewelry, cabochons an beads.

This is a very pretty sterling Silver and Tee Pee Canyon Agate pendant.
The stone measures 25 mm x 32 mm and the pendant measures 1 7/8" from the
top of the bail to the bottom of the setting. The bail size is 3/8"
and is stationary. This very unique stone is found in South Dakota and
the pendant is hand crafted by a local artisan.
Agates mostly occur as nodules in volcanic rocks or waters containing silica
in solution possibly derived from the decomposition of silicates in the lava.
The siliceous matter is deposited in regular layers resulting in the banded
or striped formation.

stone. This pendant measures 2 1/2" from the top of the bail to the
bottom of the setting. The bail size is 1/2". The stone is set
in a lovely sterling silver filigree setting. A nice touch.
Carnelian is a red or reddish-brown variant of Chalcedony but also may come
in the colors of orange and pink. It is quite common and usually found
in translucent pebble form. It is found in several areas of Europe,
Iceland and Madagascar.

This pendant measures 2 3/16" from the top of the bail to the bottom of the
setting. The bail size is 1/4".
Lapis is a stone with a long tradition of being considered a gem.
It is usually deep blue in color and is opaque. It is a rock and not
a mineral as it is made up from various other minerals. The main component
is Lazurite which is a Feldspar Silicate. Lapis may also contain Calcite,
Sodalite and Pyrite. It is found worldwide.
