This is a very pretty sterling Silver pendant with an interesting inlaid Abalone
shell heart shaped pattern. This pendant measures 7/8" x 3/4" with light
Pink and Blue colors. The bail size is 1/4". Abalone are a
group of shellfish with large shells. These shells are composed of material
which is highly iridescent which gives rise to a range of strong and changeable
colors making them very attractive as decorative objects including jewelry.
The colors vary from species to species but the iridescent nacre that lines
the inside of the shell can range from silvery white, to pink, red and green-red,
deep blues, greens and purples.

Quartz stone with Black Tourmaline inclusions. This pendant measures 2" from
the top to the bottom. The bail measures 3/8".
Quartz is the second most common mineral in the Earth's continental
crust. It is mainly composed of Silica or Silica based minerals.
Although Quartz is known by a variety of names, the most important distinction
between types of Quartz is that of macro-crystalline, individual crystals
visible to the unaided eye, and micro-crystalline, where aggregates of crystals
are only visible under high magnification. There are many forms of Quartz
including Chalcedony, Amethyst, Citrine, and Carnelian which are results of
mineral impurities or heat treatments.

pretty sterling Silver pendant with a 8 mm round Tee Pee Canyon Agate stone.
This pendant measures 1 3/4" from the top of the bail to the bottom of the
setting. The bail size is 1/8". This very unique stone is found
in South Dakota and the pendant is hand crafted by a local artisan.
A very pretty pendant for any type of necklace. Agates mostly occur
as nodules in volcanic rocks or waters containing silica in solution possibly
derived from the decomposition of silicates in the lava. The siliceous
matter is deposited in regular layers resulting in the banded or striped formation.

Green Jasper cabochon. This pendant measures 2" from the top of the
bail to the bottom of the setting. The bail size is 3/8".
Jasper, also know as spotted stone, is an opaque, impure variety of
Quartz that is usually red, yellow or brown in color. The mineral breaks
with a smooth surface and is used for ornamentation or as a gemstone.
It can be highly polished and is used for vases, seals, and other decorative
items. Healed fractures produce Brecciated Jasper and create their own
unique design.

42 x 28 mm nice quality, dark purple Charoite stone. This pendant measures
2 1/4" from the top of the bail to the bottom of the setting. The bail
size is 1/4". Charoite is a rare gem stone from Russia.
Charoite is an unusual mineral of rare occurrence. It is
formed from alterations of Limestone. It is named for the nearby
Charo River in Russia. The colors range from bright lavender to
violet to dark purple with white, gray and black veining. Charoite
is used as an ornamental stone and as a gemstone. |

a great gift. Labradorite is a Feldspar mineral that occurs in large
Crystal masses in anorthosite and shows an iridescence or "play of colors."
Gemstone varieties of Labradorite exhibiting a high degree of iridescence
are Spectrolite, Moonstone and Sunstone. High quality samples with good
iridescent qualities are desired for jewelry.

Purple Amethyst stone. This pendant measures 1 1/2" from the top of
the bail to the bottom of the setting. The bail size is 3/8".
Amethyst is a purple variety of Quartz often used as an ornament.
Upon exposure to heat, Amethyst generally becomes yellow, which some refer
to as Citrine or "burnt" Amethyst. It occurs in color from a light,
slightly pinkish violet to a deep grape purple. It is widely distributed
as a mineral, but fine, clear specimens that are suitable for cutting as ornamental
stones.
