Lot O Tumbler  

Prairie Agate and TP Canyon Agate

This is a batch of Local Prairie Agate, and TP Canyon Agate that we did in our Lot O Tumbler.  Note the Ceramic Media we used in the background.  The agates were pre-shaped in a lortone QT12 and then transferred to the Lot O Tumbler.  We ran them 36 hours in our 500F Aluminum Oxide Pre Polish, washed them and ran 24 hours in our Aluminum Oxide Polish.  Total weight including the media of the finished batch was approximately 4.2 lbs.

Snowflake Obsidian and Apache Tears

This is a batch of Snow Flake Obsidian, Apache Tear Mix that we did in our Lot O Tumbler.  Note the Ceramic Media we used in the background.  We ran them in 120-220 Grit until they were pleasantly shaped.  Approximately a week, rinsing and adding fresh grit every 24 hours. We ran them 36 hours in our 500F Aluminum Oxide Pre Polish, 30 hours in 1000 Grit Aluminum Oxide pre-polish, and 24 hours in our Aluminum Oxide Polish.  Note the stray garnet and Labradorite to the right which also polished well.  Total weight including the media of the finish batch was approximately 3.75 lbs.

Polished Obsidian

UV10 Tumbler

Pretty Colored Glass.

This is a batch of glass that we did in our Thumlers UV10 Vibrating Tumbler.  Note the Ceramic Media we used in the background.  This glass was pre-shaped in a larger tumbler with 60-90 grit.  We sorted the larger batch and transferred the nicely shaped pieces to the UV-10 and ran them in 120-220 Grit for about 36 hours.   We ran them 36 hours in our 500F Aluminum Oxide Pre Polish, 30 hours in 1000 Grit Aluminum Oxide pre-polish, and 24 hours in our Aluminum Oxide Polish.  Total weight including the media of the finished batch was approximately 8.5 lbs.

Polished Glass

Quartz Pebbles.

This is a batch of White Quartz Pebbles that we did in our Thumlers UV10 Vibrating Tumbler.  Although not pictured we used large ceramic media as a grit carrier and filler.  We ran them in 120-220 Grit for about 36 hours.   We then ran them approximately 36 hours in our 500F Aluminum Oxide Pre Polish and about 30 hours in our Aluminum Oxide Polish.
